Meet Our Pastor
Corey Sharpe

Pastor Corey is a native Tarheel. He taught 9th & 10th grades in Prince George's County, then served as youth pastor for five years before receiving his first appointment in 2004. Corey attended Liberty University and completed his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Pastor Corey met his wife Julie while he was a youth pastor in Frederick. Together they enjoy pickleball as a church mission and for fun. They have four children, Jacob, Abigail, Nora, and Eli.

Know~Grow~Go
What is your next step? 
As followers of Jesus, we are on a journey. We are not about arriving, but about becoming. We are always seeking ways to know Jesus, grow to be more like Jesus and go where Jesus sends us. Transformation doesn’t  just happen: we take steps. 
Know
Worship gatherings are loving places where everyone can explore a relationship with Christ. We focus on God through song and prayer, learn from God’s Word and encourage one another.
Grow 
Romans 12:2 says “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”  Groups and classes provide spaces to grow: to learn Christian beliefs, dig deeper into the Bible, and navigate life together.
Go
We imitate Jesus, who  "came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).  Look for opportunities to serve inside and outside the church walls. We experience transformation when we live out our calling by using our God-given gifts.
