The Green Team finds practical ways to make a positive impact on our church, our community, and the world around us through simple, hands-on projects that require shorter commitments.
What is Creation Care?
Creation Care involves larger projects for our church. This may include native plantings, pollinator gardens, energy-saving initiatives, and solar opportunities. We plan to apply for grants and work with the Trustees and other church leaders to put ideas into action.
I am learning little by little. There are trainings and workshops available mostly on Zoom, with some in-person opportunities.
Whether you have a few hours to help with a Green Team project or want to be part of the long-term vision through Creation Care, there is a place for you. Together, we can be good stewards of the beautiful world God has entrusted to our care.
