The music ministry of Mt. Zion can perhaps be summed up in the two above quotes. Whether it be by Voice or piano, trumpet or handbell, young or mature, musicians gather to spread the love of God and help bring his message to as many people as possible. Our ministry is shaped with the ideal that while words may speak to the mind, Music skips straight to the heart of the audience.
We currently have three main branches: the choir which prepares music for every service focusing on hymns and Songs, the instrumentalists who also help accompany hymns but also prepare solo offerings, and the Handbell Choir which will help bring an extra bit of emphasis to the service and greater community.
We welcome all comers, if you are willing then you will certainly be found able. We have many branches of service, whether serving in the Sunday Choir, keyboard accompanist, hand bell ringer or guest featured soloist there is a place for you. The best part is that we are always looking to grow. Bring yourself or your ideas and experience God’s Love in a brand new way.
